SHHHH.
I’ve been working on making better 3 panel comic strips for a little while and I think the last two strips are a lot more visually interesting than previous strips. As for content, that’s probably still lackluster.
I had drawn this strip in November 2025 however, with the whole migraine and vomiting if I looked at a screen all December, I left it unfinished until this week. The bad part about that was, I didn’t write any of the script for the first panel down at all, or deleted the layer by mistake. So I sat, staring at this strip with an empty headed gaze for hours trying to remember what in the hell the character was supposed to be saying.
The finger over the mouth, smashing the head into the booth in the first panel was a bit tricky. I still don’t think I nailed it 100%, but at some point you have to move on.
The panels with the finger laying over the in panel image was done to give “breaking the 4th wall” style gag. I used to see similar things in old cartoons as a kid, where the cartoon character starts talking to the artist and wanted to try it. The stars and lettering all coming out from under the finger was done to hopefully sell the gimmick.
